An overview of the used materials and tools for now. |

Clay Tools |
| When I'm claying, I make a lot of use of the tools as a sharp craft knife, different kind of spatulas, cookie cutters, wooden stick and an Aquarel brush nr.6. In the picture below, I can specify the spatula more. | |
| Here you can see a detailed photo of the spatulas, knowing as: 1. Sharp craft knife(Bruinink) 2. Spatula modular(Bruinink) 3. Lace tool( de Kwast) 4. Suiglat(de Kwast) 5. Spatula (Claudine Roelens) 6. Dental tool( de Kwast) 7. Different sizes of Pergamano ball stylus(Bruinink) |

Basic shapes |
| I always have a large collection of all kinds of Styrofoam. I use them as a base for my creations. Next to the Styrofoam, I have a whole bunch of pressed cotton balls and eggs(a photo will be placed later). | |
Small tools |
| At this picture you can see what material and/or tools are used most of the time. Starting with: sanding pads, Styrofoam cutter, cord- and sewing elastics, nylon thread, a round jaw pliers, a long chain nose pliers, splitpens, rings, drills, a large needle and a file. The file is to be bought by Claudine Roelens. It isn't cheap but well worth the money! | |
The connections of the Marionettes are made by these splitpens and rings. Usually they can be bought at hardware stores. |
Air drying clay |
The Marionettes are made with the Premier clay. Sometimes when it is needed I use a base out op Papydur. Both can be bought from Claudine Roelens. |
Polymer clays |
The polymer clay is available in a very large variety and with the most of these kinds I'm still experimenting. |
Different kind of Paint |
| This is just a small view of the paint I owe. I use them to paint my creations. Not all the paints can be bought in the same store, so most of the time, I carry a small list in my purse, so I know what I need when I am in a particular store (Bruinink has most of the brands in stock). |
Different kind of gloss |
| De Crystal Kote of Helmar, is a very beautiful silk matt spraying varnish which dries fast and doesn't get yellow over time. I use this varnish for my marionettes.....most art paint shops or even photographic stores sell them. The Fimo gloss varnish(available in most craftstores) is used for the parts that need a nice gloss. I certainly use them on my hand painted eyes, made of Creall therm. (both available at Bruinink ) |
Different kind of glue |
a wood glue of Bison and Aleene's tacky glue are the glues I use often. Recently, for the necklaces, I use contact clear glue of Bison or 2-components glue (epoxy) of Bison. |
