3-D Art
3-D Art is actually a over al name for everything I make, with any kind of material that is available, as long as it is fantasy. The diversity and the free spirit, gives often a surprising effect. The pieces arise spontaneously, when I'm using all sorts of different materials or when I'm working after a sketch. Besides all that, it is mostly important to me, that it breaths the atmosphere that I want to accomplish with it. For the moment a lot of hard work is done to realize some ideas.
Soon I will start with a challenge "Mythology" of the F.F.Forum, which will end at the end of October 2009 so it can be showed at Ahoy.
What will it be?
Drawings
Drawing is something I do as long as I can remember it. I drag along my drawing book and pencils everywhere. Most of the time it helps me figure out my 3-D art and getting new inspiration from it.
Next to this I actually work out some of the sketches to a finished piece in black-white or in full color.
Recently I gave myself a new challenge to transfer some of the sketches into drawings of ecoline and/or watercolor. Who knows what will bring this?
